How does insulin enter the body?

The insulin pump has a component that holds the insulin-containing tank. From the pump reservoir, insulin is delivered into your body through an infusion set which is placed in your body by means of its insertion device and injected through a tiny flexible tube, called a cannula, which is located just below the skin. your. The infusion set is connected to the tank via a small tube and you can disconnect and reconnect it from your body at any time. This will be very useful when you want to swim, shower or play sports.

Continuous glucose recording

If you use the CGM feature of your pump, you can monitor your glucose levels 24 hours a day. The pump, when combined with the Guardian ™ 2 Link transmitter and the Enlite Νέ New Generation glucose sensor, transmits the values ​​wirelessly to your MiniMed ™ 640G device.
Values ​​are updated every five minutes and displayed on the screen. These regular updates will help you fully understand how your glucose is behaving and will reduce your dependence on finger measurements.
