Guardian2 Link Continuous Glucose Monitor Transmitter

The Guardian ™ 2 Link transmitter is part of Medtronic’s CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) system. Connects to the Enlite γλυ glucose sensor and transmits glucose data wirelessly to the MiniMed ™ 640G insulin pump. It is very small – but it makes a big difference, because it reduces and improves glycemic control. It is comfortable and discreet, about the size of a € 2 coin, it is placed flat without protruding and it is waterproof. It communicates wirelessly with your pump anywhere on your body and under any type of clothing.

When the Continuous Glucose Monitoring System is combined with the MiniMed ™ 640G System and the Guardian ™ 2 Link transmitter, pump users benefit from improved sensor accuracy across the range of glucose values, and SmartGuard ευ intelligence, which offers protection from hypoglycemia by spontaneously stopping insulin delivery when the sensor predicts that glucose will reach a predetermined low limit.

The Guardian ™ 2 Link transmitter is only compatible with the MiniMed ™ 640G insulin pump.
